Camille Romagnani
Camille Romagnini has created for Pick-Up Art a collection of sculptural objects inspired by “moon doors”, an architectural element found in traditional Chinese gardens. These doors serve as entrances or junction points, creating “gateways” within the gardens. In Chinese culture, the moon symbolizes unity, harmony, and wholeness. Camille Romagnani is a Franco-Chinese artist born in 1992, she graduated in product design from the ENCI des Ateliers in textile design in 2018 and from the ENSEMA Olivier de Serre in product design in 2013. She has since developed her personal universe by working at the intersection of art and craftsmanship. Her practice explores natural elements through her work with materials and colors. After living in Athens, where she discovered ceramics, she established her studio in Paris.
